"The Eye and the Sun" at Women Commentators Festival in Warsaw

The Katarzyna Kozyra Foundation is presenting the second edition of Women Commentators. In 2014 female artists from Ukraine and Russia were invited to Warsaw. At a moment when in many spheres of life a dialogue between Russia and Ukraine does not seem possible, there is an urgency to build a platform for Ukrainian and Russian cultural activists and researchers and hear their testimonies of the war. Due to the historical background, Poland seems the proper environment for debate. By organizing this festival and inviting selected artists to Warsaw the organizers are trying to create another dimension for intellectual collaboration, which differs from boycotting.
