On 1st and 2nd of March 2012 WOMEN’S WORK UNIT will work to transform the space of Visual Culture Research Center of National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” through creation of art objects, video installations, body performances, photo projects, working with text etc.
On 10th of February 2012 President of NaUKMA (National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy) Sergey Kvita closed the exhibition Ukrainian Body dedicated to the problematics of corporality in Ukrainian society. The entrance to the gallery is now locked. Sergey Kvit explained his action with the following reasoning: “It’s not an exhibition, it’s shit.”
З 7 по 28 лютого 2012 у Центрі візуальної культури НаУКМА буде проходити колективна виставка Українське тіло. 18 сучасних українських художниць та художників - серед них Євгенія Белорусець - визначають кордони «українського тіла», його обмеження, больові точки, способи сприйняття та інтерпретації.
One Sixth of the Earth (Ecologies of Image) will be opened in MUSAC Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Castilla y León from 28th of January 2012 presenting art from the last decade from countries that were part of the former Soviet Union and Eastern Bloc. Works of Yevgenia Belorusets are on the show.
Сuratorial exhibition of Hudrada LABOUR SHOW will run from the 17th of November to the 2nd of December 2011 in Visual Culture Research Center. Twenty artists (among them Yevgenia Belorusets) and two collectives are participating.
