"Anfang des Krieges" in one-day-intervention "Cafe Kyiv" in Berlin

On 27th February Cafe Moskau was turned for one day to Cafe Kyiv in order mark one year of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine and to rediscover Ukraine through diverse voices. One of the events was reading from Anfang des Krieges by Yevgenia Belorusets moderated by Alona Karavai.

"Das ist mein Krieg" at Schlossplatz in Dresden

The city intervention Das ist mein Krieg (It's my war), which was previously shown in front of the museum building in Herford, has been installed at Schlossplatz in Dresden. This happened in February 2023. 

Yevgenia Belorusets am rbb Kultur: Donnerstags mit Sprachnachrichten aus Kyjw

Yevgenia Belorusets ist im Feburar 2023 wieder zu Hause in Kyjiw und schickt die nächsten Donnerstage jeweils eine Sprachnachricht an die Hörerinnnen und Hörer von rbb Kultur aus ihrer Heimat.

Stage adaptation of "Lucky Breaks" to be premiered in Ohio theater in New York

Untitled Ukraine Project is a stage adaptation of selected short stories from Lucky Breaks, written by Yevgenia Belorusets, reimagined by playwright Sara Farrington, directed by Jaclyn Biskup, and devised and performed by our ensemble of five female actors. The premier is on 1st of Febuary 2023.

“Women at War” at The Art Gallery at Stanford in Washington

Collective show Women at War is at The Art Gallery at Stanford in Washington from 12th of January till 21nd of March 2023.

"Das ist mein Krieg" in front of the Marta Herfort Museum

In December 2022, Yevgenia Belorusets has created city intervention Das ist mein Krieg (It's my war) in front of the museum building in Herford. "Mein" ("my") is struck through and twice corrected back to "mein" ('my"). 

"One Day More" at the International Migrants Day

On 17th and 18th of December 2022 One Day More was presented on the International Migrants Day in Brussels. The installation moved from the Citizen's Garden of the European Parliament.

Belorusets' works in collective exhibition "Considering how exaggerated music is"

The works of Yevgenia Belorusets will be presented in frames of collective exhibition Considering how exaggerated music is in artistic-run space Blindside in Melburn, Australia. Opening is on 7th of December 2022.

Schering Stiftung Special Award for Artistic Research 2022

The Schering Stiftung presented Yevgenia Belorusets with the Schering Stiftung Special Award for Artistic Research 2022.

Horst Bingel Prize for Literature 2022 awarded for the book "Anfang des Krieges"

On 12th of November 2022 Horst Bingel Preis for Literature was handed over to Yevgenia Belorusets, Ronya Othmann and Ali Abdollahi.
